OK--and now for the darned
complicated rules!
FIRST!
You cut 5 strips of different
fabrics, measuring 18" x 1 1/2".
These fabrics should be 100% cotton, and not too thin.
At least three--can but do not have to--be solids.
You mail them to me
(use link to ask for mailing address)
SECOND
I take each of the strips, and
cut them into 12--1 1/2" squares.
Since you are sending 5 strips, you will get back 60--1 1/2" squares
and if all goes right--no two will be the same!
(If all does not go right, there may be some repeats.)
I will swap out the squares until
you
have 60 different squares,
and mail them back to you.
THIRD
You will make two charm quilts. One is for you
to keep,
and one is for you to send to your Swap Partner.
The remainder of the squares are for
you to make more quilts,
pillows, or whatever you want for your Hittys!
Even better...practice your PIf-ing!
Have fun and
remember to send a picture for this page!

Ooooohh....what are these blocks?
Could they be.....extra fun?
Well--of course they are! Some
of you may recall our last charm quilt swap on Hittygirls,
where it was discovered that some of the blocks were only the...errrr...butt
of a cat! And the folks who found the cat butt square got an extra prize.
Well, these four blocks were placed at random in four different packages
of swapped out charms. If you find one of these four squares, let us
know--and you will win one free class of your choice from Julie Old
Crow! (Classes
are here)
Good Luck!
All the squares laid out, ready to swap out.
Each member got 60 different squares, and then
we divvied out the extras--so if you get more than
one of any square, one is the extra.
My squares (plus some of my own)
